This coffee was made for those who want a simple, easy and intense cup. It creates a darker, more traditional roast than the other Origin blends - a coffee that is sweet but with no acidity.
Origin built this blend by drawing on three of their trusted long-term Brazilian partners. Ricardo Barbosa adds the bass toned richness. For dark sugar sweetness and chocolate notes, they went to Virgulino Muniz's crops. And Sao Joao‚ courtesy of Osvaldo Bachiao, completes the blend with an added layer of complexity.

They source their coffee through direct trade, enabling them to support their farm and mill partners directly. Paying at least 50% over and above Fairtrade prices, their philosophy and ethical practice is true to speciality coffee. By visiting the farmers and mill representatives every year, and listening to the workers and their families, they can see first hand the commitment to environmentally and socially sustainable practices.
